drivers season points
at the start of the formula 1 season we predict how many
points we think each driver will get. this gives you the
opportunity to predict just how well a driver is going to
perform over the entire season and not just individual races
tournament/championship index
for the formula 1 season, we will offer an index price
for driver involved. a drivers price reflects how well we
think they are going to perform throughout the event. points
are awarded to the drivers who end the season in the top
positions. we award 60 points for the driver that wins the
championship, 40 points for the driver in 2nd, 30 points
for 3rd, 20 points for 4th, 10 points for 5th and 5 points
for 6th. this gives you the opportunity to predict not only
how well a driver will perform, but how badly they may do
as well.
individual race/qualifying index
a bet may be offered about the performance of driver in
both in qualifying and individual races, awarding points
according to official finishing positions.
1st = 25points, 2nd = 10points and 3rd = 5points.
for the actual race, this market will be quote live and
in-running.
this market gives one an opportunity to back or oppose
a driver, something which traditional fixed odds betting
does not offer
drivers points match bet
this is where we will pit two drivers against each other
in the race, making one as the favourite over the other.
the driver that finishes ahead of the other will be awarded
10 points as well as 2 points per position he wins by.
in the case of a driver retiring, it is the point he comes
off at in the race that is classed as his position.
for example, if a driver is the third man to spin off/crash/retire
in a 20 man race, he has come 17th.
