types of cricket spread
bets:
individual batsman series runs
back or oppose the performance of individually quoted batsmen
throughout a test series. if you believe someone will accumulate
more runs than our prediction you go high (buy) at the higher
level of our quote. if you think an individual will struggle
and make fewer runs than our projection you go low (sell)
at the lower level of the quote.
individual bowlers series wickets
this is market predicting the number of wickets individual
bowlers will take in a series.
highest innings score and lowest innings score
these two markets are based on the highest/lowest number
of runs either side will score in an innings during the
course of a test series.
individual batsmans runs in an innings
during the course of a test match we will predict the number
of runs a batsmen will score.
session runs
for this market we will predict the number of runs that
will be scored in each session of a typical test match.
supremacy (limited over matches only)
for this market we predict which team will win the match,
and more importantly, how convincingly they will by. 10
points are allocated for each wicket a team wins by, and
1 point is allocated for each run the match is won by. it
is important to remember that if the team that initially
we make favourites lose the match, the final points score
would be negative.
