how many cards will the referee show during a match?
the scoring system allocates:
10 points for a yellow card (maximum one per player)
25 points for a red card
if a player receives a yellow card and then a second yellow
card i.e. red card then he is awarded 10 + 25 = 35 points.

france v england 40 - 44
a bookings index concerns the number of cards issued by
a referee during a match in conjunction with our scoring
system for each card. here, we award 10pts for every yellow
card shown and 25pts for every red. the most one player
can contribute to the market is therefore 35pts.
the cross-channel rivalry between these two countries has
always created tension, but you think we've over-played
this theory in constructing our price. after all, french
and english internationals know and respect each other from
club football. so you sell for £10 at 40.
sure enough, the game is well-tempered if competitive,
and a lenient graham poll only dishes out a single yellow
(10pts) for a shocking challenge by viera. you are in clover
to the tune of £300!
the maths: (40 - 10) x £10 = £300 profit
